Michael Woolrich (Liam Neeson) gets up in the morning like any day. He takes his wedding ring, he serves his coffee, he greets his children and he says goodbye to his wife (Elizabeth McGovern, Downton Abbey) to take the train he uses to go to work. The same for the last ten years. The only difference on that day is Joanna (Vera Farmiga, Philip K. Dick’s Electric Dreams), a mysterious woman attached to flashy shoes that offers a game based on human behavior. That is the premise of The Commuter, the new ‘thriller’ by Jaume Collet-Serra and his fourth film with Neeson.
